Why my ancestors are important.

I would like to know who my ancestors are. The reason is it is interesting and you learn a lot about your family. It gives you a chance to talk to your family. You can ask your mother about her parents what it was like when she was a child. This helps us learn about our history and enriches our relationship with those older than us. If we are lucky enough to have grandparents we can listen to their history and their story and learn so much. Another important side to finding out about our ancestors is disease. If we know that in our previous family there is a tendency for heart disease or diabetes we can try to eat food and live a life which will help us to avoid the symptoms and have check ups regularly. We can beat our genes. Genes that we have manifest themselves but if they are dominant sometimes there is nothing we can do. But in some cases if they are recessive genes we can build up a conducive environment to ensure that we get the best from our body. I believe in natural remedies, appropriate diet and exercise. Developing good relationships and relaxation is the best way to a long happy healthy life. So yes find out about our ancestors it is a great journey in your history. Humm
